Good morning...
A couple of days ago I made a ro do list of projects. One of those projects was to weed out the cabinets in the laundry room. I have several boxes that I an taking to a thrift store tomorrow. It is good to get rid of some of the clutter in your life. As I went through the boxes I realized that I had not touched things in about .twenty years and had gone through them. Now I have used the space to store the special foods that are part of my diet these days.''

The devotional component of Thursday Writings in Women's Focus Ministries was co authored by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The devotional is titled, "God Is Our Love and Our Strength" and it covers the fact that God is our strength who enables us to do difficult things. Also he looks on us with great Love and keeps us in high value,. In the light of this Jody advises us, "When you see yourself the way God sees you, and think of yourself the way God thinks of you, there will be a release of power to achieve great and amazing things."

I can do all things
through Christ, who strengthens me.
I can do everything God asks me, and
has called me to do, through Jesus, who strengthens and empowers me to fulfill
His purpose.
You see, I am
self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. I am ready for anything, and equal to
anything, through Jesus who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.
He is the one who gives me the power and might to face anything, and every
challenge, that is part of God’s purpose.

I am, I can make it through anything in the One, Jesus my Lord and Messiah, who
makes me who I am.

Discover God's ability
in you. There is nothing you set out to do that you cannot achieve.
When you see yourself the
way God sees you, and think of yourself the way God thinks of you, there will
be a release of power to achieve great and amazing things.
If God has placed a
vision in your heart and mind, He will provide the strength and capacity in you
to achieve it. If you can dream it, you can have it.
God paid a high price to
redeem you, so don't look down on, or depreciate, what God paid so much to
rescue. You are priceless and above value in God's sight.
Take off your
self-imposed limits and let God launch you into the orbit of power, success and
accomplishing His plan. Understand and acknowledge that we are who God says we
are, strong and able to do all things.
Declare to yourself “I
am who God says I am, irrespective of what others say or think, or their opinion
about me. I am God's child, sent with a mandate, clothed with His anointing to
uproot what the enemy has planted. I am operating in the power of Christ to
bring freedom, liberty and God’s purpose to those who sit in the kingdom of

Nun Joke
Sister Mary was truly a religious woman. Besides for her duties as a nun, she was also very active in various hospitals visiting sick patients and taking care of all their needs. So it was no surprise that one day when she ran out of gas, the only container she could find to put the gas into was a bedpan. Sister Mary happily walked two blocks to the closest gas station filled up the bedpan with gas and headed back to her car. Luck would have it that as Sister Mary started tipping the gas into the fuel tank, the traffic light turned red and she had quite a large audience witnessing the spectacle. Just when she finished pouring in the last drops of gas a fellow opened up his window and hollered, “I swear! If that car starts I’m becoming a religious man!”

Little Bob went with his mom to church every Sunday. One morning in the middle of the service Bob complained that he was feeling a bit queasy and was afraid he was going to puke. “No problem dear,” whispered his Mom in his ear, “just head on over to the bathroom on the other side of the Church, and take care of it there.” Thirty seconds later Bob came back. “Did you go to the bathroom?” question his Mom. “No need” responded Bob. “Right outside the door was a big box with a sign next to it ‘for the sick’, so I just did it in there!”

Existence was so tranquil and peaceful for the young couple Adam and Eve, like straight out of a story book, until one unfortunate day when Adam showed up one hour late for supper. By the time Adam finally came home Eve was a nervous wreck, and her imagination was working overtime. “Honey, what happened? Why are you home so late?” Questioned Eve. “Oh I’m sorry! Adam responded with a wave of his hand, “I just lost track of the time.” Now Eve didn’t have a Mother or girlfriend around to calm her fears, after all it was just her and her Husband and despite Adam’s convincing act her overactive imagination could not be calmed. That night after two hours of restlessly turning in her bed, enough was enough. “WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING!” Hollered Adam jumping out of bed. “YOU KNOW DARN WELL WHAT I’M DOING” Screamed Eve right back, “NOW YOU BETTER LAY STILL RIGHT NOW, AND LET ME FINISH COUNTING THOSE RIBS!
