Good morning...
Today I went to Kaiser with my neighbor. She has been having symptoms that are not diagnosed. The doctor she saw is still trying to gather information. She had been told to only eat rice by her GP. This Doctor said that she should just eat as usual. When we came home I invited her to dinner and she happily ate turkey loin, mashed cauliflower, and asparagus. She said that she had been very hungry for days. I am hoping that she won't have issues tonight. Please pray for my friend. God knows who she is.
Have a sweet Saturday!
Today's devotional is "Godly Moments" written by Carol Steficek. The problem of what to do when an unexpected waiting time changes the plan or our schedule . Here are s0me thoughts to think about. One main one is that the delay gives opportunities for moments of refreshment.
I carry a small Bible in my purse. Sometimes I also have a book in the
car with me. This can be a few minutes of extra time to spend with
God. Memorize a Bible verse. Pray. Just spend a few quiet
moments out of the rush of the day to be in God's presence.
Kids can say the funniest things sometimes, especially since their observations are often unintentional. Here kids wax wise on the Bible and share some of their favorite Bible verses. Get ready to laugh your socks off!

"Godly Moments "
written by
Carol Steficek
"I will extol the
Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips."
Psalm 34:1
his praise will always be on my lips."
Psalm 34:1
We all have to
spend a great deal of our time waiting. We wait in lines at cash
registers to buy things, we wait for trains to cross our roads, we wait in
traffic jams, we wait at doctors' appointments -- we wait for lots of thing
which disrupt our busy schedules.
What do you do with these moments of seemingly wasted time? Do you fret
or curse or worry you're now behind schedule? Why not do something with
these moments that make them a godly time?
Moments that interrupt our schedules can be godly moments of refreshment.
That is never a waste of time.

Children share their thoughts on the Bible
Lot's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.
Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark.
Solomon, one of David's sons, had 300 wives, and 700 porcupines.
Moses died before he ever reached Texas.
Then Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol.
