Wednesday Writing...6/10/20..."Cheer Upt"

Good Morning,

Today we are looking into some of the reasons to "take heart" or "cheer up" when we think of the good things and miracles in  our lives. We are blessed by the working out of our issues in ways that we never dreamed possible. Here is a quote from this writing, "I am sure that most readers have stories about how God helped issues to be worked out spectacularly beyond your wildest dreams. Think about your stories, and share  your gratitude with Him for  how He works in  your lives."

It would be good if you shared experiences to others whenever you get the chance.

God bless,

"Take Heart"

I’ve told you this
so that my peace will be with you.
In the world you’ll have trouble.
But
cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

I have been been doing a study that Christine Caine has been teaching. Day two topic was "take heart." One of the exercises was to find the other meanings that say those words. I liked the choice of "cheer up."

In this Jesus tells us not to think something is wrong with us. The truth is that everyone including Jesus have trouble happening to us in life. The good news is that Jesus overcame the world with us in mind, and that is a true reason to become cheerful. In these days we are bombarded with negativity, and most cheerfulness is in short amounts.

It is important to shake the thoughts of hopeless off our heads and hearts. We serve a loving Father who provides miracles in the lives of His people. For starters, He sent His Son to walk through His corner of the earth. That came with a plan for people to be given Salvation when they accepted Him. The desire that we all be saved is uppermost in the plans of God.

When I was a child my cousin, our mothers were the only people on the beach. It was the day before school opened and we were there as a special treat. Sally and I were in the water when we stepped into a bridge channel and were drowning. My mother and aunt froze in panic and never even made it into the water. Suddenly a woman went running into the water
fully dressed, grabbed us, brought us ashore, and handed us to our mothers. After they attended to us they looked for the woman to thank her. There was no one there. To this day I believe that we were saved by an angel.

I am sure that most readers have stories about how God helped issues to be worked out spectacularly beyond your wildest dreams. Think about your stories, and share  your gratitude with Him for  how He works in  your lives.
