Something unexplained happened on my computer tonight (Saturday) I must have erased the writing as it was posted. I will redo it on Monday...5/15/17!
I apologize for the inconvenience.

Healer Of The Broken-hearted
We oft times hear that God never promised this earthly journey would be easy, but that He did promise to be with us! It's so true. There will be trials and temptations and the more dedicated to the Lord we become, the more the evil one will attack us. Stand firm! You are not alone!
Jesus understands all these things. He was tempted by satan, faced loneliness and heartbreak, rejection and betrayal, and He suffered. He wants us to realize He understands after having gone through so much, and that He is always with us!
Draw close, follow His knock on the door of your heart. He will never force Himself on you, but He will never leave. Open your heart to Him and He will come in and stay with you! He stands ready to give you comfort unlike anything earthly can, strength to fight the foe, and give you the peace that passes all understanding! "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18.
Earthly solutions are temporary. At times we think we've found the answer to our problem only to realize it was merely a momentary solution, a brief respite from the problem that has not gone away after all. We realize the happiness we felt in believing we'd found the answer was shallow and fleeting.
Our joy is found in the eternal, in an unchanging Lord with more love for us than we can fathom. Knowing He cares for us brings great peace, as we will never face anything alone. We have His strength to rely on, His guidance to the path best for us to take in every situation. He will NEVER let us down. Because of our human relations that is difficult to grasp at times, but it's true and its a promise! We can count on Christ! "He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3.
Oh Holy Lord, Thank You for Your promises and for never deserting us, for being with us on every step of this life's journey, and thank You for Your promise of eternity with You! Amen.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
