Good Morning,

Today's writing was written by Karen Bennett and is titled."Follow The Spirit." Her theme is to follow the invitation or the Spirit to let others know about the good news of what Jesus does and will do for us. Karen wrote, "We need demonstrate the proper Christian life and share the death and resurrection of Christ for the cleansing of our sin with just as many people as possible, that they too may share with others."

Do you have the spirit of evangelism to where you are ready to share the good news with others. Jump in with both feet; the water's fine.

"Follow The Spirit"

Softly the Holy Spirit calls us, gently He prompts us, and joyfully He sanctifies us. He makes God's beautiful word stir our hearts and lift our spirits, filling us all with the hope of God's promises. We draw on them daily, assured of their truth, comforted by it, all helping us through this earthly life. Knowing Christ died for our sin and was resurrected, we can rely on life eternal with Him because of our gift of faith from the Holy Spirit.

We know we can trust God to keep His promises. We've seen the truth of God's word in our lives and can be assured of those promises yet to come. They permeate our hearts and minds, filling us with the certainty they will come to pass.

Jesus said,

"I am the way and the truth and the life.

No man comes to the Father except through Me."

John 14:6.

He is the way of eternal life, a life so filled with joy, it is impossible for us to imagine it.

If only every person could know this and take comfort in it. It is imperative we follow the Spirit's promptings and look and listen for the ways to share the good news of the gospel! His truth fills the hearts of many who hear it, giving them the hope of eternity with our loving Lord Jesus.

We need to sow seeds of love and faith for the Holy Spirit to cultivate. Jesus said,

"Go ye therefore and teach all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father,

and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

Matthew 28:19.

People need to know us by our Christian love and ready partnership with one another for the growth and good of the kingdom of God. We need demonstrate the proper Christian life and share the death and resurrection of Christ for the cleansing of our sin with just as many people as possible, that they too may share with others.

Abba, please help us to sow the seeds of faith and teach people the life saving news of the gospel, all by the great power of Your Holy Spirit. May they find Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. Let us follow the Spirit and live our faith for all to see that we have been saved by Your death and resurrection which wiped clean our slate of sin. Your grace and mercy is poured out over us by faith from the Spirit, and your love envelopes us, making our life here much easier as we wait for You. Thank You for Your promises that encourage, comfort, and bring great peace and joy. In Your name we pray. Amen.
