Good morning,
Today's the writing is co written by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The title is, "LIVING WATER." The theme is that Jesus is the provider of living water that is needed by all people who following Him and are living in the world...a special nourishment. Jesus invited His followers that living water that He has is what will quench their thirst. Here is a quote from this writing, "The essential element to changing our society is the Grace of God in our lives. It is revealed in how we relate with people, even those who disagree with us or do not like us.. Our lives should be the treasure house of God’s grace, a reservoir of God’s love..."
May you enjoy a day of quenched thirst from your closeness to God.
God bless

"LIVING WATER"
"LIVING WATER"
Now the last day of the
feast came. This was the greatest and most important day, the climatic end
of the festival. Jesus stood and called out in a loud voice to the crowds, “If
anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. If you believe in Me, and come
to Me, the Scripture says that rivers of living water will flow from within
you, from your innermost being.
Come, drink, the living
water. When you adhere to, trust in, and rely on Me in this way, rivers of
living water will brim over and spill out, continually flowing from the depths
of your heart, just as Scripture says it will.”
John 7.37-38
The key to making an
impact in our society is keeping the water of life flowing fresh and
clean in
us. We must adhere to, trust and rely on Jesus to keep the waters of life,
righteousness, justice, and mercy flowing from our hearts.
The essential element to
changing our society is the Grace of God in our lives. It is revealed in how we
relate with people, even those who disagree with us or do not like us.. Our
lives should be the treasure house of God’s grace, a reservoir of God’s love,
so that when our enemy is hungry we can feed them or when they are thirsty, we
can give them living water and they will not thirst again.
Our righteousness lifts
up our nation. A virtuous life, lived out in love, transforms us into a conduit
through which God can reach, and touch others. Our world needs us to stay near
Jesus so we can be a pipeline of living water to people, dying of thirst.
Righteousness – moral
and spiritual integrity and virtuous character – exalts a nation. But sin is a
disgrace to any people.
