Good morning...
Today I took my car to the car wash. It was filthy after so many months of the Cali drought. It looks so pretty. I wonder if it feels as good as I do after a nice warm shower. I suppose not. Cars do not have feelings...lol.
Hope your Tuesday is beyond terrific.
God bless from

The Devotional component in the Friday Writings of Women's Focus Ministries is titled,"Walking in Faith"and was written by Diane Sutton. Diane points 0ut that we hear the Word from others and also from reading the scriptures. God’s Word is the Living Word which speaks to us as we read. Therefore, we are hearing as we are reading. Diane wrote. "We want to know your will. We want to obediently and confidently walk, speak and act only in your will. Open up our minds, eyes and ears to know, see and hear your will."

When we are in the Word, we will
become familiar with the ways and thoughts of God. When I read the Bible I read
the scriptures like they are love letters to me, his beloved child. God is
revealing his inner thoughts and character to me and to each of us. This is how
our relationship will grow with God. As the relationship develops we will know
his Will. We will know that God loves everyone and does not want anyone to
perish. This means we are to be the mouthpiece of His Truth to everyone
regardless of how they live or how they look or who they currently worship.

"Walking in Faith"
written by
Diane Sutton
Walking in faith means we
are manifesting the Spirit of God. But how do we walk in faith? The answer is that we must first hear the
Word of God.
“Consequently,
faith comes from hearing the message,
and the message is heard through the word
about Christ.”
Romans
10:17 (NIV)
We hear the Word from others and also
from reading the scriptures. God’s Word is the Living Word which speaks to us
as we read. Therefore, we are hearing as we are reading.
“For the word of God is alive
and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing
soul
and spirit, joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the
heart.”
Hebrews
4:12
After we hear the Word, we
then must believe the Word.
“Have
faith in God,” Jesus answered.
Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this
mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’
and does not doubt in their
heart but believes that what they say will happen,
it will be done for
them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer,
believe that you
have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:22-24 (NIV)
Believing without doubt means we are
confident that what we believe will happen before it actually happens.
Lastly, we will act
accordingly on what we believe.
Too many times we doubt because we
are unsure of the Will of God. How do we act on the Will of God in confidence?
The answer is we must read and meditate in the Word of God.
“For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 (NIV)
Lord,
We want to
know your will. We want to obediently and confidently walk, speak and act only in
your will. Open up our minds, eyes and ears to know, see and hear your will. We
gladly chose to receive your will and will follow your will without doubt or
fear. Set our feet upon the path you have for us and let us confidently go
forth proclaiming your truth to all people. Let us praise you and rejoice that
you are our Loving God!
Let's Pray
TODAY'S DAILY PRAYER

All of creation waits with eager longing for God to reveal his sons. For creation was condemned to lose its purpose, not of its own will, but because God willed it to be so. Yet there was the hope that creation itself would one day be set free from its slavery to decay and would share the glorious freedom of the children of God. Romans 8:19–21,
Lord God, we thank you for all you reveal in your creation so that our lives may be fruitful. Reveal your wisdom and strength among people everywhere so that death and destruction do not have their way, but your will, your love, your mercy shall prevail. Let our age learn that power belongs to you and not to men, and that you will at last fulfill all your promises of good. Your day of justice and holiness will break in, and all misery will be removed through your great mercy. Watch over us as you have done till this hour, and keep us safe during the night. Be present and carry out your will wherever there is misfortune. May your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.

‘We Can’t Kill This Baby’: Couple Walks Out of Abortion Facility, Saves Life of Down Syndrome Son
SYDNEY —
An Australian couple whose son was diagnosed with Down syndrome is expressing their relief that they walked out of an abortion facility instead of ending the life of their unborn child.
“I’d made an appointment to have a termination, and we were sitting there, but then my husband dragged me outside,” Claire Martin recalled to the Daily Mail this week. “He said, ‘What are we doing? Lets go home. We can’t kill this baby.'”
“I was relieved,” she said. “I needed someone to say they were on my side.”
Martin and her husband Benjamin had been told during a 15-week ultrasound that their son had Down syndrome. They were advised to abort, and were also influenced by friends and family members who told them that they were “sorry” about the situation.
“I even had one person say to me, ‘If this was a dog, what would you do?'” Martin stated.
Therefore, in being counseled to abort, Martin scheduled an appointment to end her son’s life. But she didn’t really want to do it, and was glad that her husband pulled her out.
When her son, who she named Xavier, was born this past April, she knew that she had done what was right/
“I have no regrets at all. I have no idea what I was so scared of, but I was absolutely terrified and I did not know what to expect,” she told the Daily Mail. “I’m going to love him no matter what. I’m completely over the moon to be his mum.”
As previously reported, earlier this month, a mother in Florida shared a letter that she wrote to her doctor, who had advised her to abort her Down syndrome daughter.
“I came to you at the most difficult time in my life. I was terrified, anxious and in complete despair. I didn’t know the truth yet about my baby, and that’s what I desperately needed from you,” Courtney Williams Baker wrote. “But instead of support and encouragement, you suggested we abort our child. … I told you her name and you asked us again if we understood how low our quality of life would be with a child with Down syndrome.”
“I’m sad that the tiny beating hearts you see every day don’t fill you with a perpetual awe. I’m sad that the intricate details and the miracle of those sweet little fingers and toes, lungs and eyes and ears, don’t always give you pause,” she wrote. “My prayer is that no other mommy will ever have to go through what I did. My prayer is that you, too, will now see true beauty and pure love with every life displayed on every sonogram.
