Good Morning,\
The theme of today"s writing is to build up our lives strong just like the house built on a rock ...a firm foundation. It kind of reminds a person of the child's story of the three little pigs. The smart one used bricks and his house withstood the rages of nature while the other two built down so to speak and their houses did not survive, Here is a quote from Carol, "How can you gain strength, comfort, forgiveness from guilt, and all the other gifts God holds out for His followers if you don’t follow Him all week. The world certainly is on uncertain ground. Don’t topple over with the world— be built up.
Build up the life of your spirit on a rock...on a strong foundation. The gates of hell will not prevail against you.
Have a blessed weekend.

“I will show you what
he is like who comes to me
and hears my words and puts them into practice.
He
is like a man building a house, who dug down deep
and laid the foundation on
rock,”
Luke 6:47- 48
As Christians we are
called to build up and not tear down. But how do we do that when all else
around us seems to be sliding away like mud on a steep hillside? We do this by
lifting up the Word of God in our lives and sinking our roots and foundation
deep into its truths. There are too many Sunday Christians, who give God an
hour or two but then lead totally different lives the rest of the week — without
God and without nourishment and direction from His Word. How can you put
anything into practice when you don’t know it? How can you have direction when
you don’t seek it. How can you gain strength, comfort, forgiveness from guilt,
and all the other gifts God holds out for His followers if you don’t follow Him
all week. The world certainly is on uncertain ground. Don’t topple over with
the world— be built up.
