Good Morning,
There is no doubt in the hearts of believers that God is with us constantly. He never leaves us on our own to sink or swim. Sandy wrote, "We can recall at every turn in our path that He was well aware of things that happened to us, because He was there! Our part is to fully recognize that, and open our life and heart to Him."

I believe everyone of us on the face of this earth have experienced some type of trauma and a multitude of hurts and pain. Unfortunately that is life, and the Lord tells us Himself that we will not escape that. Even as Mothers and Fathers we would love to be able to shield our children from not having to walk through hurts, but that is not possible in the world we are living in.
Some people would rather just put a band-aid over their wounds and never have to deal with them, but just look the other way. We all know that not only hurts us but can compound the hurts we are hiding in our hearts. But sometimes in life it is much easier to pretend everything is just fine, than have to deal with the brokenness in our life. It takes some effort and honesty to go forth and actually confess our wounds and walk through the steps to get to the other side of Healing. Vulnerability can be just as painful and a humbling experience.
There was something that God recently reminded me of that brought me much comfort and peace. He clearly spoke to my heart telling me that every hurt, trauma and heartache that I have ever experienced, He was always right there with me.
Let's take a look at His Word that confirms that very thing. It says...
"And the Lord ,
He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you,
He will not leave you nor forsake you;
do not fear nor be dismayed."
Deuteronomy 31:8
Such wonderful confirmation in His Word and particularly in that passage. Our God promises to always go before us and is always with us. The passage gets even better when He tells us that He will never leave our side and we do not have to fear or be dismayed.
That scripture brings much relief and rest in my heart knowing that He has always, always been with Me and You!!
We can recall at every turn in our path that He was well aware of things that happened to us, because He was there! Our part is to fully recognize that, and open our life and heart to Him. It is then, when we are ready to deal with those things, the Lord can come in and heal every stitch of brokenness, heartache, and trauma. That is who our God is! Embrace His healing power to day because He is always with You!
