We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Tuesday Writing...5/5/20..."A new Song in My Heart

Good Morning,

The theme this morning is that if we draw near to God and reach for Him He will come closer to us in ways that we have not experienced before. Sandy wrote, "There is a song that was recently going through my mind and it is called "I Just Want To Be Where You Are." That songs puts it in good perspective. That should be our heart's yearning, in that just being with Him!....Draw Near To God, my friend, and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed or discouraged when you do. Our God is our Firm Foundation, and He will fail you not!"

Time to reach out to God by drawing near. This will give you a special closeness!

Drawing Near To God,

Today's Devotional ..Written by Sandy Billingham

During this pandemic is an excellent time to draw near to God. Let's face it... many of us have more time on our hands then we did previous to this virus hitting us. There are always bills to be paid and projects to do and maintenance for the house as well, but nothing more important than getting to know our Heavenly Father in a much richer, intimate way. That only happens when we choose to come away with Him. We know He is with us always, but we must intentionally set time apart and just sit and be with our Lord. He is so radically in love with us and wants us to have a strong relationship with Him.

The scripture that comes to mind on knowing Him more is out of James 4:8A, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you..." He wants nothing more than for us to  purposely run to Him. He wants to be first  in our life. It is so easy to say that you plan on time with the Lord, but the days and weeks go by so quickly, and  before we know it.. years have lapsed. The last thing I want to experience is when my time ends on this earth and I come face to face  with my Heavenly Father that all I can say is, "I kind of know you Jesus."

God wants a full blown surrender of our life to Him that  when we hear His voice  we respond to Him immediately. He wants us to know Him so well that when He is prompting  us to serve Him we act  with quick obedience. But I truly believe the bottom line is that He is so crazy about us, He just can't wait for us to  show up with ready hearts just loving on Him. I will be getting to know who "The Great I Am" really is.
There is a song that was recently going through my mind and it is called "I Just Want To Be Where You Are." That songs puts it in good perspective. That should be our heart's yearning, in that just being with Him!
Draw Near To God, my friend, and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed or discouraged when you do. Our God is our Firm Foundation and He will fail you not!
"Draw Near To God And He Shall Draw Near To You...all your days!!"
