Good Morning,
Today's Writing is a combination of remembering those who helped keep our country free and trusting in the God who orchestrates our freedom and well being. Here is a quote from this writing, "Whenever we are challenged and feeling that the life we knew would never be ours again, we need to remember that He is our hope and trust in all things. He never stops working on the providing things that His people need according to His wisdom. This is in times of comfort and in times of trials,"
This will be good to remember and hold as an eternal truth.
Have a blessed holiday,
Corinne Mustafa

"Remember and Trust"

The graphic above says it all. Throughout the history of our country more wars have been fought more than I care to count. Men and women were involved. Many died. Some came home uninjured physically, but so many of them suffer debilitating psychological wounds. Some were injured to one degree or another, and some have spent the rest of their lives in Veterans Homes. This is the toll that results, and today, Memorial day, we are remembering them.
Many people have had a habit of going to cemeteries for the ceremonies. I am not sure that this will happen today (at separations of six feet or course.) Since March we have been fighting our own war. We fear for our safety and health; many of us have lost beloved family members and friends to the Corona Virus. We are given rules by the government that remind us that our freedoms are being removed. Added to all of that is the worry that things will never get back to what we consider the "old normal."
This is a time to work above our trials and concerns and to place our trust in God. Theoretically, this is an easy thing to do. However, we often make it difficult for ourselves. We should cast our cares on the Lord about all the issues going on in the world and those that affect us more personally.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs
3:5-6
Whenever we are challenged and feeling that the life we knew would never be ours again, we need to remember that He is our hope and trust in all things. He never stops working on the providing things that His people need according to His wisdom. This is in times of comfort and in times of trials.

This song is sung from the collected point of view
of the soldiers who fought in all the wars
of the soldiers who fought in all the wars
who lived or died in them
