Good morning,
Today we are looking at what makes a person find significance. As you can see from the graphic under the the title of this particular writing it is found in a person's getting closer to God. Here is a quote from this writing, "By our very creation God has created us with a purpose in mind. We are all created for a job/purpose which is the reason for our creation. We are the result of your plan." And from Christine's writing, "Even when divine significance feels out of reach, remember: God wrote out a plan for your life—a plan full of goodness and hope. You can trust that God is at work in these times and in your life."
The good news is that you will find significance when you get close to God, so move into His presence.
God bless,
Corinne Mustafa

"Finding Significance"
Written by Corinne Mustafa
(with a quote written
by Christine Caine)
The very arrival of a person who is found to be significant comes from her being associated with her Creator. By our very creation God has created us with a purpose in mind. We are all created for a job/purpose which is the reason for our creation. We are the result of your plan.
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know
everything about me. You know when I sit or stand.
When far away you know my every thought. You chart the path
ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am
going to say before I even say it. You both precede and follow me
and place Your hand of blessing on my head.
everything about me. You know when I sit or stand.
When far away you know my every thought. You chart the path
ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am
going to say before I even say it. You both precede and follow me
and place Your hand of blessing on my head.
Psalm 139:1-4
This is another scripture that shows the role of our Creator in leading us to significance. Another scripture says.....
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together
in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:13
So God is the architect of who each of us is and can become. He is the guide that leads us to the significance that He has planned for us.

Here is the writing from Christine Caine, who has created a masterful description of the topic of finding significance
How can we find significance in our daily lives?
So many people search for significance in their jobs, relationships, and achievements. But as Christians, we connect with our significance in an entirely different way—through our identity in Christ. We know that we were created to make an impact for the Kingdom of God.
Still, there may be moments when we don’t know exactly how to do that. We may experience setbacks and disappointments that leave us unsure of our next steps.
But we can be confident in the Word of God, which tells us that we were created with intentionality (Psalm 139) and for a unique purpose (Ephesians 2).
To continue moving forward into the significant life you were created for:
- Don’t let things like fear, failure, hopelessness, or unmet expectations become your primary focus. Acknowledge the challenges you face, then redirect your focus right back where it belongs—on your faithful and loving Savior!
- Use your time, talent, and capacity with intentionality. Determine what the most important things are to give your limited time and attention to each day and in each season of life. Say no when you need to.
- Remember that God will not waste anything in your life. The very challenges, mistakes, and difficult circumstances we try to rush past or hide don’t disqualify us—they often cultivate the effectiveness of God’s unique purpose in our lives.
Even when divine significance feels out of reach, remember: God wrote out a plan for your life—a plan full of goodness and hope. You can trust that God is at work in these times and in your life.
