Good Morning,
The writing shows the fact that Jesus's role with His followers is to lift them up, He was even willing to die so that we could be lifted up. Carol wrote, "It is well over 2000 years since Jesus's death and resurrection and the "draw" is still as powerful as it ever was. He will continue to draw men to Himself until He comes again in power to rule and reign as the One True God."
How are blessed to be children of God and to be lifted up.
God bless you this weekend,
Carol Steficek

"LIFTED UP"

"But I,
when I am
lifted up from the earth,
will draw all men to myself."
John 12:32
Jesus was talking to
His disciples in this passage, predicting His coming death. At this point
the disciples couldn't understand Him as they were still looking for a
conquering Messiah who is going to overthrow Rome and set up a kingdom on earth.
One of the most difficult concepts for non-Christians to understand is how God
could come down to earth and be born a man and as the God-man be willing to
suffer death on the cross to save people from their sins.
This does not
fit with teaching in any other religions. All other gods remain distant
from men, and people have to work to get to God. Jesus did what we could
not do for ourselves. Christianity still remains the fastest growing
religion in the world.
Jesus does indeed draw people to Himself. It is
well over 2000 years since Jesus's death and resurrection and the
"draw" is still as powerful as it ever was. He will continue to
draw men to Himself until He comes again in power to rule and reign as the One
True God.
