Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Friday Writing...1/31/20...

Good Morning,

Today the blog is about the beautiful scripture, "Be still and know that I am God. People today are so busy that they forget the importance of a quiet time away from the race of life. Here is a quote from this writing. "The Son of God needed time to be alone and to rest. People had so many had desires of things that they knew Jesus could provide. He just understood the quiet that he needed. We need to bless ourselves the same kind of mini "vacations."

Praying that you can give up trying to be Wonder Woman!

Have a Blessed Weekend,
Corinne Mustafa

Today's Devotional
"BE STILL"
 Written by
Corinne Mustafa

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will
be exalted among the nations,
I will
be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10

We live in an overwhelming  world where peace is not a characteristic of that life we live. WE go to bed too late, and we wake up too early and hardly rested. We drink a quick cup of coffee and we hit the road. This is a description of a working person. However, stay at home moms face the still kind of over extension. They chauffeur the children to school, volunteer in the school as a room mother or a to help in the classroom. Then the day rolls along at breakneck speed doing housework, laundry, making dinner, orchestrating bedtime and reading good night stories.  This is life in this modern sophisticated world.

Jesus is shown in the Scriptures in several instances as having went away to be alone, to rest, to pray, and to be with His Father. The Son of God needed time to be alone and to rest. People had so many had desires of things that they knew Jesus could provide. He just understood the quiet that he needed. We need to bless ourselves the same kind of minute "vacations."

You will become much more productive and successful
if you take the time to follow this advice.
