It is so easy to let ourselves get stressed out during the weeks before Christmas. We want everyone to have the best that Christmas can offer for themselves. We make this our responsibility, and loose sight of the fact that we already have it because of the love of God. We must strive to keep it in mind that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON...not us. During the Christmas Season we can all get stressed out with all the things that loom before us. With all the shopping, cooking, baking, Christmas parties,and family and friend get togethers, it seems there is no end to the madness!
Somehow it seems that we think we have to fulfill every obligation possible without even taking a breath. And somehow among all the craziness we have lost our peace! And somehow we seem to get Jesus lost in all the business and forget to put Him first. How can that be??? With out Him we have no peace.
The Word Of God is loaded with His Word on Peace. It says...
Now may the Lord
of peace Himself
give you peace
always in every way.

peace. He gives us a peace that is beyond understanding and comprehension.
We can call out to Him, and give Him all the stress and chaos that can bombard
us during the Christmas season. It is then and only then, that we can experience His beautiful peace.
The Lord is in the business of peace. He loves to shower His people with His abundance of peace. He is waiting for us to come to Him and lay all of our stuff at His feet in exchange for His peace. If you are feeling the pressures of all that Christmas entails and you see no light at the end of the tunnel with all your responsibilities, you can know that the Lord is there for you.
