Good Morning,

Today we have a writing that shows the importance of knowing that Jesus was filled with Joy and that we always must be rejoicing in the Lord. Carol wrote, "Jesus was a man of joy because He knew who He was, and had a specific purpose to fulfill for the salvation of mankind. He loves each of us beyond measure, and knew where He was going when He left this earth."

May you always share His joy in your life.

"REJOICE ALWAYS"

"Rejoice in the Lord always.

I will say it again: Rejoice!"

Philippians 4:4

I once read a book about Jesus entitled: "Jesus, Man of Joy." It struck me with wonder that such a thing could be said of Him. How could Jesus have joy when He knew He was going to suffer for the sins of all mankind?

Jesus was a man of joy because He knew who He was, and had a specific purpose to fulfill for the salvation of mankind. He loves each of us beyond measure, and knew where He was going when He left this earth. He could be joyous because He saw and sees the whole picture.

He had joy because He knew He would win in the end over all Satan's works and the evils of this world and He will come again in victory. Why should we have similar joy? Because we are His -- we have Jesus to walk right beside us through life we have a purpose to fulfill on earth; we know we are loved unconditionally; we know our troubles here are only temporary; we know where we are going after death; and we have a much better home to look forward to with the Lord.

We have a great deal to rejoice about!
Rejoice in the Lord always!
