Good Morning,
The writing today considers the trials that are faced from sorrow and disappointment. The author sees this as an opportunity to get closer to God. Bre wrote..."The sufferings of this time will be nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. So I thank Jesus for the opportunities to grow and for the blessings He has given me."
If we persevere God will show His glory to us.
Blessings,
Bre Miller

"Suffering for His Glory"

“and if

and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer
with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time
are not worth comparing with the glory that is
to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with
eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:17-19 (ESV)

Recently, I have definitely suffered. I was angry at God and
wondered,”Why? Why God?” I was pregnant and very excited to share the news with my family,
on Mother’s Day. I was planning on having a baby and creating Pinterest boards.
I was thrilled, as was my husband and family. I saw my Mom cry of happiness at
having a new Grandchild.
Just one day later, I went in to the doctor because I was spotting
and cramping and they wanted to take my HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels. With a
normal pregnancy, those levels get higher and higher every day. That didn’t
happen in my case. They called me and told me I was having a miscarriage. I
collapsed and sobbed. Why was this happening…again? You see, this wasn’t the
first time this happened to me. I still don’t have any children. I just wanted
to be a Mother so bad. Why couldn’t God give that to me?
Then I remembered, God does not promise a life without suffering.
He does not promise an easy life. He promises that we will suffer, but we will
have His Spirit inside of us. We will be able to know we Fought The Good Fight.
God knows what he is doing.
