Good Morning,

The theme for today is the importance of doing good works using the gifts of comfort and talent that the Lord has given you. He planned those in advance and had a plan for us about how we should use our blessings. Carol wrote, "His grace abounds to His church, us, so we can meet others needs and then share the grace of His gospel message with them. First we must do the works of God, and then we can share His message to those who will be ready to listen."

Time for us to start sharing the wonders we have through the blessings received from God.

"ABOUND IN GOOD WORKS"

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you,

so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will

abound in every good work."

II Corinthians 9:8

The first thing a Christian has to realize before being able to go out into the community is to give to others is how richly. God blesses each of us. When I was a child I remember being told to eat everything on my plate because other children in the world were going hungry. If you were like me, I would gladly have give them some of my vegetables. Starving children across the world didn't mean much then. Now, as an adult, I am amazed how richly God has blessed my life.

I can never out give Him, no matter what I do for others. I have all of my needs met plus much, much more. I suspect most of us can say the same, no matter what our current situation is. God does want us to go out and share our time, talents, and treasures with our neighbors and people around the world. God gives to us so that we can give to others and be a blessing to them. His grace abounds to His church, us, so we can meet others needs and then share the grace of His gospel message with them. First we must do the works of God, and then we can share His message to those who will be ready to listen.
