Good morning,
The writing for Wednesday covers the topic of the importance of continuous prayer. Bre wrote, "Let us learn to pray like Elijah. Let us also learn to pray like Paul, who prayed constantly and had a true relationship with Jesus."
Prayer is simple; it is having a conversation with God about what is on our minds. We can do that by turning our mental musings to be a tete-a-tete with our Father.
Praying you find a true relationship with Jesus.

"Pray Without Ceasing"

We all know
that prayer is important. We pray in church and before meals. When someone asks
us to pray for them, we do. But do we go throughout our day praying? That’s
what a true relationship is. You read God’s word to hear his voice and you talk
to him by praying. I’ve recently been really convicted on this topic. I
faithfully read my Bible and I do pray, but not nearly as much as I should. I
think many of us can say this, right?
“Pray without ceasing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17
It doesn’t
get any clearer than that. We are to pray constantly.
In Ephesians
6:10-20, Paul is talking about putting on “The Whole Armor of God”. He talks
about how we need specific things to be strong against the schemes of The Devil.
He’s talking about how we will be in a battle, which is a spiritual one. Since
our battle is spiritual, we will need to fight spiritually. He then goes on to
say...
"With all prayer and petition
pray at
all times in the Spirit, and with this in view,
be on the alert with all
perseverance
and petition for all the saints,"
Ephesians 6:18

NASB
In order to have The Whole Armor of God, we need to be praying and we need to be praying often...James 5:13-20 Bible (NASB)
“Is anyone among
you suffering? Then he must pray.
Is anyone cheerful? He
is to sing praises.
Is anyone among you
sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and
they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and
the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up, and, if he has committed sins, they
will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins
to one another, and pray for one another so that you may
be healed.
Let us learn
to pray like Elijah. Let us also learn to pray like Paul, who prayed constantly
and had a true relationship with Jesus.

This is a no brainer...
If you are a mom
you have many reasons for prayer.
