Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Tuesday Writing...5/28/19..."God Arms Me With Strength"

Good Morning,

Today's writing talks about the muscle that is needed to meet the needs of performance that life requires of us. The strength we need comes from God. Sandy wrote, "It is God alone that shall arm us with His Strength and we shall make great strides in accomplishing His work for the Gospel! It is  then that He shall make our ways perfect for His mighty Kingdom!"

This is worth striving for. I pray that you acquire it.

"God Arms Me With Strength"

My huge goal for the summer is to clean and organize our garage and our attic.  Now if you were to come to my house and see my garage and attic you would probably shake your head and possibly say, " That is more like a whole year job!" Yes! I am taking on a big job, but I am determined to make it happen.

I actually started on it big time yesterday. The attic was the first priority. As I trudged up the steps  to the attic and assessed the job, I became quite overwhelmed! Yet, I dove into it. I was struggling with getting the momentum to keep going and accomplish my goal, but  I kept at it albeit slowly. As time went on, I still was moving slowly and was even getting discouraged because there was so much work to be done.

I pressed forward and would not let myself give up... not even the least bit. After a significant amount of time, I realized I had reached a place where I knew I was over the hump.  I saw first hand the work that had taken place, and that I was making good progress. I began to feel a surge of energy I had been lacking previously and I was ready to meet the challenge head on! I was well on my way to accomplish what I had set out to accomplish!

As I thought about my project I began to think about how our God provides all that we need to serve Him in the purposes for which He has created us. He is  always there for us and ready to provide what it takes to accomplish the plans He has for each one of us.
There are many times on our journey with Him that we may feel  like we are trudging up the steps or even massively overwhelmed. We may be struggling in getting the momentum going to serve Him as He has asked us. We may even get discouraged many times, yet we know we must keep steady the pace.

As we call out to the Lord, we can each be assured that He shall pour out on us His surge of energy that may be lacking. It is then that as He provides, we are ready to serve with great zealousness the challenge of the ministry He has given us head on!
His Word speaks to us very clearly...
It is God who arms me with strength,
And makes my way perfect.
Psalm 18:32
It is God alone that shall arm us with His Strength and we shall make great strides in accomplishing His work for the Gospel! It is  then that He shall make our ways perfect for His mighty Kingdom!
