We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Monday Writing...7/9/18..."Whosoever Faith"

Good Morning,

The writing today is a spectacular statement on the Jesus and why He came. We know, but the problem many of us neither recognize how He gives grace nor even worse will not recognize Him as who He is. So they need to be shown that what has been believed about grace is incorrect. Once we accept Jesus the rest is automatic. BELIEVE IT!! When you do understand this you save yourself much anxiety. Collette wrote, "...it's about His work, not ours. His Grace, NOT ours. He wants us to see that, apart from HIM, we can do nothing! He loves us and wants us because of Who He IS ... Not because of who we are."

Peace, Love, & Joy,

Today's Devotional
"Whosoever Faith"
by Collette Phillips

Those of us who number ourselves with the Bride of Christ need to recognize that in order to reflect Christ we might have to risk more than a reputation or treasure... We must be convinced that His Gospel is worth our very lives.

For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son
so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them.
But those who don’t trust Him have already been tried
and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God.

John 3:16-18

So what is the Gospel??
The Gospel is translated "good news." I know no better news than the news of a man who came to save us all, named Jesus.
The Gospel, or Good News is this: God is NOT mad at you. He SOOO loves you... Yes, you who do not even claim Him, you who say He is nonexistent, you who say He is an angry god, you who say He is not who His Word says He Is.... He had such love and compassion on you, and I, that He has been chasing after you, and me, since the beginning.

He is judgment and holy judgment at that. He is mercy and brand new mercies, each morning. But, beloved, He is Grace, and that, manifest in the Person of Jesus. Adam and Eve did nothing to earn this Grace, nor did anyone of the rest of us, and yet His judgment was swift and His mercy endured. Finally, His Grace is extended to us over, and over, and over.

If you could earn your way into Grace, then Jesus' death was a waste... A colossal waste. BUT CLEARLY, we cannot behave our way into His Grace.

Don't believe me??

Then read the ‘dirty little secrets’ about your favorite bible heroes. The only ... ONLY MAN who knew no sin is a man named Jesus: The only begotten of God. How did The Word of God come to point to these men and women of faith with such high regard? Why didn't this list include some of the more ‘socially acceptable’ women of the bible like Ruth or Esther? Why did it include a prostitute named Rahab and a liar like Abraham, or a murderer like David?? Why?

Why??
Because, it's about His work, not ours. His Grace, NOT ours.
He wants us to see that, apart from HIM, we can do nothing! He loves us and wants us because of Who He IS ... Not because of who we are.

How will we respond, those of us who are called by His name? Will we realize that it is HE who sends the harvest? It is the workers that are few, but His provision is OVER-abundant. He shall supply all of our needs, according to His riches, through Christ Jesus. Are you and I in Christ Jesus?

If your and my answer is "yes," then we must listen to the Holy Spirit that resides in us, and let Him Speak to us, through His Word. He can take a tragedy, and a major crisis, and turn it into a TRUE REVIVAL.

  1. I really like how you remind us that God loves all of us, even those who do not (yet) love, trust or believe in Him.

  2. This was an excellent writing Collette. It would rank as a wonderful mini Bible Study. It was a pleasure to read and interesting for me to format. Love and God bless!
