Good Morning,
"What Do You Say?" is the title of today's writing. The theme considers the importance of praising God in all circumstances no matter what. We should thank Him for ordinary gifts such as waking up to another day. The author wrote, "It is paramount to remember to thank Him. What a true believer is and has, is all through Christ. We don't want to be ungrateful to our faithful, true, and ever present Lord. He never leaves us and we honor Him with praise and thanksgiving."
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever.
God bless

"What Do You Say?"
How many times have we heard parents say those words to their children, or said them ourselves, when they have been gifted with things? We want our children to be polite and mannerly. Obviously, saying thank you is the proper thing to do when someone has been generous.
The generosity of our Lord is incomparable. His great love rains down on us and showers us with a multitude of blessings!
Sometime ago, I heard an expression that made a profound impression on me. I have heard it several times since then as well. "What if you woke up towith only the things you thanked God for today?" I don't think it would be a pretty picture. I'm not saying we aren't grateful for God's precious gifts, but I am saying we take much for granted. How often do we thank God for the very dear gift of every breath we take? How often do we say thank you for the beauty of His creation? We can come up with many instances where we don't think much about the things that are "just there."
We are created by God to praise Him and to give Him thanks in all things. Yes, even our troubles. We thank Him for helping us through those times and learning from them.
"So then, just as you received
Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him,
strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness."
Colossians 2:6-7.
It is paramount to remember to thank Him. What a true believer is and has, is all through Christ. We don't want to be ungrateful to our faithful, true, and ever present Lord. He never leaves us and we honor Him with praise and thanksgiving.
"That my heart may sing to You and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give You thanks forever."
Psalm 30:12
All He has given us is due to His love, mercy, and compassion. He will even make good from everything that started out poorly.
"Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Philippians 4:6
Keep your eyes and heart focused on Jesus, the lover of our souls, the one who died to save us, had there been only one of us, He would have made the same sacrifice.
Dear Father, it is so right to give you thanks and praise. May Your loving kindness and all Your blessings be ever remembered by us and never taken for granted. Thank You for Your constant care and guidance. May we follow You with joyful hearts all the days of our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
"Give thanks to the Lord
for he is good;
His love endures forever."
Psalm 107:1.
What do you say?

(Give Thanks to the Lord)"
