Good Morning,

 "Power, Love And Sound Mind"  is the title of today's devotional. The theme is about fear. Sandy had been tormented frequently by worries about several issues. She wrote, "The Lord has infused in us His power, His Love and a sound mind in Him. As I spoke that scripture over, over and over again eventually the fear had to go. God's Word does not return void, but it will accomplish what He says it will do." She realized a good solution to her problem of fearfulness. You will find out what she did when you read her devotional.

 "Power, Love And Sound Mind"

Recently, I was experiencing tremendous fear about family, finances, and the list goes on. I would pray and declare God's Word over me, but it continued to cling to me for quite some time.

I know that fear is not of God but of satan. Fear is like a torment and harassment to us. I continued to focus on Jesus and worship Him and began to speak a specific scripture over me multiple times and finally got my breakthrough and victory.

The scripture that I declared over me was... 

 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, 

but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

2 Timothy 1:7,

The Lord has infused in us His power, His Love and a sound mind in Him. As I spoke that scripture over, over and over again eventually the fear had to go. God's Word does not return void, but it will accomplish what He says it will do.

My fear was real, but God is so much greater than that. As I pressed in to Him and was tenacious to get my freedom, the Lord granted that to me. God's power caused the spirit of fear's grip on me to weaken completely!

I am so thankful that we serve a God that wants us to walk free of fear every day of our life. Next time the spirit of fear starts to whisper lies in my ears, I will be much quicker to take the authority God has given me and receive great Victory in Him!
