Tuesday Writing... "Mender Of My Heart." ...8/8/17

Good morning,

Sandy Billingham is the author of today's writing, "Mender Of My Heart."  When trouble and hurt come into our lives we need to deal with it. It is a good thing that we have God on our team. Whenever we are challenged by the happenings of life we can go to Him and lay it down. He will know what will help. "He will assuredly heal our broken heart and bind up every wound and make us whole again. That is just who our Abba Daddy is as we trust Him today!"

I truly feel blessed by this truth...that he is our Abba Daddy!

"Mender Of My Heart"

We cannot escape pain, disappointment, or heartaches in our lives. At some time or other it is inevitable simply because we live in a fallen world where no relationship or situation is perfect.

Our life can be going really well, everything is coming together as planned, when all of sudden we are caught off guard! Boom!! That unexpected bill is thrown into our face. Maybe that job you worked so hard for and felt was so secure was eliminated from the company completely. Or maybe you are experiencing broken relationships as I am with my daughter currently. It can be a number of things that we thought would never happen to us.

Our hearts become heavy and we feel hopeless and discouraged and that things may never change. We may question God and ask him how all this could possibly be. We might even feel like "throwing in the towel" and just walking away from it all.

The good news is that we have a loving God that is always by our side. He has the answer to what we are going through. All that has transpired in our life was never a surprise to Him. 

His Word tells us... 

"He heals the brokenhearted

 and binds up their wounds."

 Psalm 147:3

All He asks of us is that we come to Him and lay all our brokenness, wounds, and cares at His feet and trust Him to take care of it all. As we surrender it to Him, He promises to be there for us.

He will assuredly heal our broken heart and bind up every wound and make us whole again. That is just who our Abba Daddy is as we trust Him today!
