Tuesday Writing..."ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK".....7/18/17

Good morning,

Today's writing is by Sandy Billingham and is titled, "ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK." It is about the scripture in Matthew that is quoted in the writing. It is the word of Jesus that says if people do this their prayers will be answered. Sandy wrote, "Not  only does He tell us to ask, but He says that it will be given to you. And as we seek, He tells us you will  find. And lastly as we knock, it will be opened to you. Our God is not about to turn His back on His written Word! We can be assured that He shall fulfill every word He has promised to His Children."

So this week speak to Jesus about what you pray  to receive. Ask, seek. and knock and wait for His answer.

"ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK"

As I was mailing a package off to a family member this past weekend at UPS, the guy next to me was perplexed with how he should proceed with his package. His situation was a little more complex, for  he was returning something and there were several details to work out. I told him that my husband was an electrical engineer and with his work there was always a solution to his problem. The guy was facing many alternatives as well, so I shared that "you have not, if you ask not." In other words many times it is necessary to inquire different avenues.

That is how it is in our Christian walk as  well. If we  don't talk to Jesus and inquire of the things we are in need of, not much will transpire  on our end. Of  course Jesus knows everything we are in need of  before we even ask, but He loves it when His sons and daughters come  to Him and ask. He wants only that we make time to come to Him. He is deliriously in love with His Children!

Not only does He want us to ask, but to seek His face continuously as well as knock on His heart's door, crying out day and night for the things set before us.

His Word clearly tells us...  

"Ask, and it will be  given to you, 
seek, and  you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you."

Matthew 7:7

I don't know about  you but that fully excites my heart! Not  only does He tell us to ask, but He says that it will be given to you. And as we seek, He tells us you will  find. And lastly as we knock, it will be opened to you.

Our God is not about to turn His back on His written Word! We can be assured that He shall fulfill every word He has promised to His Children.

So I exhort you. Sisters, with great diligence and boldness to Ask, Seek and Knock and then expect God to act on that! Wait on Him and He will do marvelous works that only He can do!! We serve an active God that is always ready to perform His Word!
