Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Thursday Writing...."GOD OF MIRACLES".......7/6/17

Good morning,

"GOD OF MIRACLES" is today's writing by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Corinne Mustafa. It examines the work of the Lord in answering prayers in ways that are often out of the ordinary...in fact miracles. Here is a quote, "Though condition look terrible, but through the scent of water You will send healing upon it to cause it to blossom again. Keep digging ditches for you shall neither see wind or rain but the valley will be filled with water. Only our God can do that. Have a wonderful day ahead."

God bless

Today's Devotional
"GOD OF MIRACLES"

"Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts."

Father help me dig more ditches even if it look stupid to people. Grant me the grace to say yes to you even though situations don't look right. Help me to scatter the seeds in the face of discouragement and threats. Grant me the strength and the wisdom to see opportunities in every ugly situation. Help me that through my tears I can still see your glory. I know, God, that, as I keep digging ditches, you will keep filling it with great miracles. Though condition look terrible, but through the scent of water You will send healing upon it to cause it to blossom again. Keep digging ditches for you shall neither see wind or rain but the valley will be filled with water. Only our God can do that. Have a wonderful day ahead.

 2 Kings 3:16-17

Listen to the Lord and believe Him that He will always provide what He says he will for you. If the Lord is calling for you to dig ditches in the dessert then dig even if there is not a single cloud in the sky. If He asks you to climb a mountain climb it, even it heights make you nervous. You may not like what He is asking you to do, but  you can relax in the truth that He will never ask you to do something that is bad; He will never ask you to do anything that will hurt you or anyone. You need to look at what the completed request could be                                                                         leading you to.

Have you ever prayed for something that you thought might never happen. You believed that there was nothing you could do to achieve it. No matter what you did you were unable to achieve it. You asked the Father to help you, and you got an idea of something that you should do. Even though it seemed ridiculous, you gave it a try. (You could compare this to the example of digging ditches that was in the scripture above.) People laughed at your foolishness, but you continued without questioning. You kept on keeping on, and you got the desire of your heart...the thing that you never actually thought you could achieve. The "ditches" you dug brought success that many would think was a miracle.

Go find your own God given miracle.
