Good Morning,

Today's Writing by Carol Steficek is titled, "SPIRIT OF LIFE." The theme is how forgiving the Trinity is when we repent of our sins. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life who is indwelling and who me gives the power to live a new life in Christ. Carol wrote, "Yes, the law of the Spirit of life has set me free to live a life unencumbered by condemnation. I'm free indeed!"

What an amazing and incredible gift from God.

"SPIRIT OF LIFE"

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation

for those who are in Christ Jesus,

because through Christ Jesus the law

of the Spirit of life set me free."

Romans I:1,2

I'm glad that God doesn't operate like I do. Forgiving myself for some of the things I've done in life is difficult. Satan keeps jogging my memory about things past. God not only forgives everything we repent of, He also remembers our sins no more.

I'm glad that God doesn't expect me to keep the Ten Commandments perfectly. Every day I start out on a good note and then end up doing the very things I don't want to. Sin does reside in this mortal body. Jesus kept the laws of God perfectly for me. When the Father looks at me now He sees only the righteousness of Christ covering me. Jesus' blood erased all my sins.

The Holy Spirit who dwells within me gives me the power to live a new life in Christ. I'm in the process of growing and becoming just like Jesus and looking forward to the day when this will be complete in heaven.

Yes, the law of the Spirit of life has set me free to live a life unencumbered by condemnation. I'm free indeed!
