"Get to Know God"

^{When facing trials, it is easy to focus on all the things we do not understand rather rather than on the things that we do know about who God is. Here are some scriptures that show who God is by looking at what He does and how He does the things He does.}

O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
    so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Psalm 86:5

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has sworn this oath:
“It will all happen as I have planned.
    It will be as I have decided.
Isaiah 14:24

You are good and do only good;
    teach me your decrees.
Psalm 119:68 

If they could have provided perfect cleansing,
the sacrifices would have stopped,
for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time,
and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared. But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them
of their sins year after year.
Hebrews 10:2-3  

 He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem!
