Writinf 4 Tuesday...6/23/20..."Prayers And Thanksgiving Be Made For All Men"

Good Morning,

The theme of this writing is that was should pray with Thanksgiving for all men and by so doing we stand in the gap for them. Here is what Sandy wrote, "Let us be obedient to the call of our Lord in standing in the gap in prayer for all men! As we do so, expect His Word to be fulfilled. Watch His marvelous outpouring of peace and salvation fill this earth. We shall then be overflowing with His praises all our days!"

This is a good belief to which we should subscribe!

"Prayers And Thanksgiving
Be Made For All Men"

Many are crying out for a solution for today's problems. They are searching and asking what can we do to turn these situations around for the better and to heal our land? Rightly so, for we are facing major mountains that in our own eyes can seem extremely daunting. If my focus is not right, I too could easily fall into a quandary of helplessness.
I am so very grateful that we do have the answer to what we are facing today, and that a horizon of hope lies before us. Let's dive into God's Word and see what He has to say about how we can deal with the mammoth troubles that are before us. Let's particularly look at the following scripture passages...
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made
for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that
we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness
and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight
of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved
and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:1-4
We have been exhorted and strongly encouraged to pray and intercede and give thanks for everyone, and especially for those who have been placed in authority. We would be foolish not to pray for those men and women that have been set before us. The very reason to pray for each one is that  we may lead a quiet and peaceable life. And not only a quiet and peaceable life but in much Godliness and reverence. Contrary to the naysayers that would only speak doom and gloom over us, God's Word tells it so much differently.

His Word goes on to tell us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, that as we do this, it is not only good and acceptable to Him, but that He desires that all men come into a relationship with Him in being saved. He is desperate to see that all men come to Him and fully surrender their life onto Him. It grieves Him deeply that there are those that will reject Him and spend eternity in hell. It is the knowledge of His truth that will set those in captivity free from the grips of satan!

Let us be obedient to the call of our Lord in standing in the gap in prayer for all men! As we do so, expect His Word to be fulfilled. Watch His marvelous outpouring of peace and salvation fill this earth. We shall then be overflowing with His praises all our days!
