Tuesday Writing...5/11/20..."Your Loving Kindness"

Good Morning,

The topic for today is the way God's loving kindness directs his interaction with his people. Sandy wrote, "He never wants to withhold His goodness from us. He wants to pour it out upon us and shower us with His loving kindness and compassion. He is far from a hard-nosed, hard-hearted, angry God. He is the God that desires to surround and protect us with His loving arms."

Believe this and expect this blessing in your life.

"Your Loving Kindness
And Your Truth Preserve Me"

I think some people may think that we have a God that is up in Heaven  just ready to pounce on us when we get out of line. They may see Him with His giant gavel just ready to lower it shouting to us,"GUILTY"! In retrospect, we know there are many events in the Old Testament that God did bring major justice to many people that refused to bow or obey Him. 

But we know as He tells us in His Word over and over again, that He is for us and on our side. He wants nothing more than to gather us up into His lap and hold us. Just like a mother hen gathers her baby chicks to her side, that is what our Heavenly Father does for us. His love never runs out for us. There is a continual flow of His love that He so desperately wants us to receive from Him.

In Psalm 40:11 tells exactly the kind of God we have. It says...

 "You, O Lord,
will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your loving kindness and Your truth
will continually preserve me.

Our God will never withhold His tenderness and gentle love that He has for us. His loving kindness is there for us morning, noon and night. We must run towards Him with open arms to receive that glorious love. And as we embrace His truth, He tells us it will keep us secure under the shadow of His wings.

I am so thankful we serve such a caring and wondrous God that wants to lavish His love upon us all our days. He never wants to withhold His goodness from us. He wants to pour it out upon us and shower us with His loving kindness and compassion. He is far from a hard-nosed, hard-hearted, angry God. He is the God that desires to surround and protect us with His loving arms.

Come to Him with outstretched arms like never before and soak up His loving kindness, compassion and truth. Experience the beauty of our God unlike any other time in the course of your life. He shall bless you with great abundance and your life will never be the same again.
