The writing today discusses how close God comes to where we are. Carol wrote, "When we have faith in the Lord and call on Him, He actually draws close to us to help us with whatever needs we have."

Psalm 34:18

The wonderful and compelling truth about Christianity 

is that God is not a creator who is far off and just leaves human beings to fend for themselves.  

The God of the Bible sent His Son, Jesus, to actually take on human flesh so He could know exactly how we feel, what we experience, and how to help us in time of need. 

When we have faith in the Lord and call on Him, He actually draws close to us to help us with whatever needs we have.  He hears our prayers.  He renews us and gives us peace in the place of hopelessness.  He gives us strength to carry on with all of the trials we face in life.  

He give us the promise of eternal life in the face of death.  Read your Bible daily 

and  come to God in prayer 

Again draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
