In fact His Word tells us...
Our place is to listen to His voice and walk in His footsteps as He so gently guides us. As we do that and open our hearts wide to our Abba Daddy, He will reveal those New things to us. We will see that all God's planning and preparations for us is well worth the wait as He unfolds the wonderful, big, surprises that He has just for Us!!

Sandy Billingham had a surprise 60th birthday party last weekend for her husband, Walt. She managed to surprise him and this got her thinking about "God Surprises" that he always gives to His children. In today's devotional Sandy pulled her theme from the thought of the wonderful surprises that God is always giving His children. She pointed out that God has wonderful plans and surprises waiting to be given. Sandy wrote. "He will reveal those New things to us. We will see that all God's planning and preparations for us is well worth the wait as He unfolds the wonderful, big, surprises that He has just for Us!!"

This past weekend I had a 60th Surprise Birthday Party for my husband. It was really hard not to spill the beans and say something about it these last few weeks. A few times I almost blew it, but fortunately I was able to hold my tongue. When that big moment really came and everyone yelled SURPRISE, it was well worth all the planning and preparations. My husband was Super Surprised and had a grand time celebrating His 60th Birthday!
Isn't that how our Heavenly Father is with us? He loves to plan Big Surprises in our life and help us celebrate our Life along our journey. Living Life in Christ is never dull but fresh and new every day.
"Behold I will do a new thing.
Now it shall spring forth.
Shall you not know it?
I will even make
a road in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert."
Isaiah 43:19
The Lord is wanting to do New things in our life. He has exciting plans for us. He has places He has planned for us to go and many things that He wants to show us and teach us.
