Good Morning,
Sandy Billingham is the author of today's writing, which she titled,"The Goodness Of God." She took an ordinary activity...looking for a birthday present for her son...and she experienced a kindness in a store clerk that helped her purchase the right present for him. Sandy saw this as an evidence of the goodness of God in the man's behavior. She wrote, "......prayer moves the hand of God and that is an important thing to always remember no matter how big or small the situation. Not only that, but our Heavenly Father's goodness never stops. He does not withhold it from us but lavishes it on us every day. He loves to bestow rich favor and honor on us as well."
Tomorrow and in the days to come try to notice the little things that work out better than you expected, and try to see these happenings (no matter how minor) as evidence of
the goodness of God.
God bless

Today's Devotional
"The Goodness Of God"
I love it how our God takes such good care of His Kids. He is always watching out for us and surrounds us with His loving arms. In fact He tells us in His Word that He never holds back on His Blessings as we walk in obedience to Him.
It says in Psalms 84:11
"For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
He bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does the Lord withhold
from those who walk uprightly."
He took me to the aisle that I needed and began to share about the different brands and what he liked better than others. Come to find out the man that was helping me was the electrician for the store. He had been an electrician for over 35 years, so he was very knowledgeable about the tools. He knew exactly what worked better than others according to my son's needs.
He also was careful with pricing, but at the same token the best tool at a great price. He stayed with me until I had made choices on the items. Not only that, but he carried them over to the cash register for me and even got me a cart. I was super impressed!! I had never gotten service like that any time I had gone to that store in the past.
There is a continuous flowing of God's goodness as we reach out and receive from Him. I will always be thankful that I am God's Girl and that His Goodness knows no end all our days.
In His Goodness,
Sandy Billingham
