Good morning,
Did you ever think about this topic that God is "NEVER SURPRISED?" This is the topic that Carol Steficek wrote about today. Well we all know that God knows everything, and we all know the examples of times when Jesus said things showing that He knew ahead of time that something was going to happen. Still the term "never surprised" is still illuminating of the fact that God is all knowing. Carol wrote, "So don't you be surprised by what the day holds for you. Just take the Lord's hand and trust your walk with Him."
It is a good habit to wake up and greet God every morning with the faithful whisper that we know He is in control. Follow that with telling Him your belief that He will guide you during your day and that you know welcome Him because you know that He will work anything that happens for your good...for your growth,
God bless,
Carol and Corinne

"NEVER SURPRISED"
"Jesus answered,
before Abraham was born, I am!"
John 8:58
It is comforting for me to know that when I get up in the morning seeking to
walk hand-in-hand with the Lord, that He not only has promised to walk with me,
but He also goes before me, preparing my day.
There are a number of incidents in the gospels where Jesus predicted what was
going to happen. Many times he answered unasked questions which people
were only thinking. After three years with Jesus, this was one of the
convincing factors which led the disciples to believe He was the Messiah.
One good example is the story about Philip sitting under the tree before he met
Jesus. Another is Jesus' prediction about Peter's denial.
Since Jesus always was and is, nothing surprises Him. There is no such
thing as an "accident" or a "coincidence." This also
should provide much peace for us with the world situation. God is still
in control and is the only One who really knows what is going on and is
controlling world events for His purposes.
So don't you be surprised by what the day holds for you. Just take the
Lord's hand and trust your walk with Him.
