Tuesday Writing by Sandy Billingham......3/7/17

Good Morning,

Today's writing is by Sandy Billingham and she is writing with the title, "Power In Agreement."  Her theme is that, although there is much disagreement in the world, things go so much better when there is agreement. Sandy wrote, "God is all about agreement according to what He says in His Word. He is in agreement that He wants to meet our every need whatever that may be. He it completely for us and on our side and loves to bless His children."

Today's Devotional
"Power In Agreement"

We can find people at any given place that are not in agreement with what we stand for. All we have to do is check out the media regarding the Political arena and you can find all kinds of people not in agreement with our standards or each other as to what is going on in our Nations. In fact your next door neighbor or the person next to you in that cubicle at work may see things quite differently then what you or I see in terms of any variety of issues.  It is not difficult at all to disagree with people. Of course we see it and experience it every day. And there is nothing wrong with that, as long as we respect one another and are not belligerent or violent in the midst of it all.

Let's turn things around and look at the opposite side of that which is being in agreement. Let's take a look at what God has to say about agreement. His Word tells us ...

 "Again! I say to you 

that if two of you agree on earth
concerning anything that they ask,
 it will be done for them 

by My Father in heaven."

Matthew 18:19

God is all about agreement according to what He says in His Word. He is in agreement that He wants to meet our every need whatever that may be. He it completely for us and on our side and loves to bless His children. He is not stingy by all means and want to pour out His abundance on us and wants us to live a fulfilled life.

He tells us in the above verse that when we as His people agree on earth concerning anything we ask it shall be done. That to me is extremely powerful. Agreement is a good thing and something we want to function in as we pray together with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

If what we ask is in accordance with His Word, we can ask for those things with another believer on this earth and the Lord will generously grant that to us. Remembering the key is "agreement." He says it will be done by my Heavenly Father.

Walk in agreement with your brothers and sisters in Christ as you bring those petitions and supplications before the Lord. As you do that you can expect God's goodness and blessings to be poured out from heaven in great abundance!! We serve a loving, generous Daddy! That is just who He is!!
