Good Morning,
"Pursue Him With All Of Your Heart" is the name of today's writing that is written by Sandy Billingham. The theme of her writing is that when a person seeks God seriously and earnestly she will find Him. There are several scriptures that express this idea of a successful relationship which is the result of a person working heart and soul to find Him. Sandy wrote, "Pursue the Lord with all of your heart and experience an intimacy with Christ that will rock your world!!" It would be a good idea for all of us to put some extra steam into our search to connect to the Lord.

Today's Devotional
"Pursue Him With All Of Your Heart"
My husband, neighbor and I attended a Symphony Orchestra Concert last night. The concert was delightful! They have a composer named Daniel that shows up almost every time and the Orchestra performs one of his pieces of music. He also has the opportunity to conduct it as well.
Daniel always shares little tidbits of his music writings. Something he said last night really caught my attention. He has composed many, many music pieces, but the one thing he said struck me. The music he has written has never just popped into his mind right before him. He specifically said that he has had to pursue each song piece. In other words he intentionally sought to write each lyric.
That really got me thinking about my relationship with Jesus. If I want to have a radical, on fire, strong intimate relationship with Christ, I must pursue Him. I have to do my part. I can't just go about my days and just expect to have a strong relationship with my Lord. I must be deciplined to spend time with Christ. I must intentionally read His Word, Worship Him, spend time in prayer and fellowship with others on a regular basis.
"But if from there you seek the Lord your God,
you will find Him with all your heart
and with all your soul."
Deuteronomy 4:29
If we are fully seeking our Heavenly Father with everything that is within us, we will truly find Him. Not only will we find Him, but we will experience a greater depth of His love and His presence. We will hear His voice more clearer and be overwhelmed by His Holy Spirit.
Pursue the Lord with all of your heart and experience an intimacy with Christ that will rock your world!!
