Good Morning,
Today the writing is co-written by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The title of their writing is "Showcase His Glory." The theme is taken from Galatians in which Paul writes about the scars he received because he belonged to Christ. The section of the writing after the scripture speaks about how God allows adversity as lessons for our growth. Here is a qoute from the writing, "...it makes God happy, and pleases Him, when we pass the test of obedience in challenging times. Thank God for the scars, for His grace is enough for you. When you were weak, then His strength was made perfect."
(Remember that challenges and suffering make for us a membership in the life of Jesus. Furthermore in James 1:2-3 it says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." Looks like a win! C.M.)
Be blessed tomorrow and forever,

"Showcase His Glory"
"Showcase His Glory"
I bear the scars from my service to
Jesus. I have the whip marks, the very brand-marks that show I belong to
Christ. On my own body are the wounds, disfigurements and other outward
evidence of persecutions that testify to His ownership.
Galatians 6.17
If you recognized the value of the
things that confront and challenge you, that add to your spiritual growth and
maturity, you would pray for one each day.
I believe it makes God happy, and
pleases Him, when we pass the test of obedience in challenging times. Thank God
for the scars, for His grace is enough for you. When you were weak, then His
strength was made perfect.
God bless you as you showcase His glory in difficult moments. This is the evidence, the markings of Christ, which are seen by the world.

Here are two uplifting thoughts
about the season of Lent.
"Lent is a new beginning,
a path leading to the certain goal of Easter,
Christ's victory over death."
Pope Francis
Lent is not just a period of repentance,
it is an opportunity for repentance, a period that reminds us
of our daily duties towards holiness as a global family.
