Tuesday Writing by Sandy Billingham,,,,,,2/21/17

Good Morning,

"Embrace All God Is Doing" is what Sandy Billingham has penned for today's writing. In her time in the Word Sandy noticed the word "embrace" occurring several times. As many of us are, Sandy and her husband are approaching a stage in life that will be different than the earlier stages. This will involve change, and that can be a scary thing to face. The thing we have to do is trust and believe that God is moving us on a path in this time just as He has done in the past. Sandy wrote, "Our God is amazingly faithful and speaks to our hearts letting us know when He is moving in a situation. As we are sensitive to His leading with wide open arms, He will touch our lives. Our hearts will be entwined with the Father's heart and we can Embrace what He is doing."

I never thought this way about the changes we walk through in life. I feel that Sandy has nailed it and this line of thinking will bring me peace of mind.

Have an amazing Tuesday. If you are in California you might need to don a wet suit or fishing boots.

Seriously, please pray for the people who in danger because of the torrential rains.

God bless
Sandy and Corinne

 Today's Devotional
"Embrace All God Is Doing"

As I spent time in prayer today, as well as spending time with God's people, the word Embrace came up two or three times. Now that got my attention. When I hear a certain thing more than once I have learned to listen to what God is wanting to do in the moment.

I know many changes are coming about in my husband's and my sphere of life and there has been some questioning and uncertainty. Today I sense that the Lord is telling us Embrace what He is doing in our midst.

The word Embrace means literally, "an act of accepting or supporting something willingly or enthusiastically." That word has supported my feelings as to where we are going with the next step. Not only has it supported my feelings but also has brought more peace as well as confirmation.

Our God is amazingly faithful and speaks to our hearts letting us know when He is moving in a situation. As we are sensitive to His leading with wide open arms, He will touch our lives. Our hearts will be entwined with the Father's heart and we can Embrace what He is doing.
There is nothing else that matters than what my Father has set before me. I want to Embrace all that He has for me.

His Word says:
"Whom have I in heaven but You?

And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.

My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength
of my heart and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:25-26

There is truly none upon earth but Jesus that I desire to walk with. The Lord God Almighty is the strength of my heart and my portion forever in whom I will Embrace and all that entails forever and always!! Not only will I Embrace it but with great support, willingly and enthusiastically. I am Embracing the moment, and will wait with great expectancy all that our God is about to do!! Embracing it fully!!

Embracing His Goodness,
Sandy Billingham
