Tuesday Writing by Sandy Billingham......1/28/17

Good Morning,

Today's writing is titled, " "No Fear Of Bad News." It was written by Sandy Billingham. Her theme is that no one need to fear the arrows of the enemy. Sandy wrote, "You see the Lord does not want us walking around fearful. That just is not part of our DNA as daughters of the most high God. We have been called to not be afraid, to not allow fear to dominate our minds. Fear is simply torment and robs us of God's best for us."

(We would do well  to always keep this uppermost in our minds to be able to have a more peaceful life under the umbrella of God, our Father. byCM)

Today's Devotional

 "No Fear Of Bad News"

This morning I was meditating on a scripture which says, 

"He will not be afraid of evil tidings; 

his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. 

His heart is established; he will not be afraid, 

until he sees his desire upon his enemies." 

Psalm 112:7-8

The more I poured over these passages and let them sink into my spirit man, the more encouraged I became.

You see the Lord does not want us walking around fearful. That just is not part of our DNA as daughters of the most high God. We have been called to not be afraid, to not allow fear to dominate our minds. Fear is simply torment and robs us of God's best for us.

We as His children have been called to allow our hearts to be steadfast and established in Christ Jesus. When fear tries to knock on our hearts, the Holy Spirit can remind us of God's Word  that we do not have to fear any bad news. Our hearts are to remain steadfast in Him and we are to overwhelmingly trust in Him all our days.

As we live out those passages we can be assured that our Heavenly Father is taking care of our concerns and interceding on our behalf. His hand is divinely moving in each situation and we can trust Him with it all. He never intended for us to be loaded down with worry, but He takes great delight  in taking care of His Kids!

The Lord wants nothing more but for us to rest peacefully in His arms having that full assurance He will come through.

I am ready for my heart to be established and steadfast in Christ. Not only am I ready for those two things for my heart, but also to forever trust in Him!! As those things unfold in my life I stand strong with the all knowing that I will not have to fear bad news. I can expect God's goodness poured out in my life and those around me all my days!!
