Today's writing was co authored by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The title is, "Thank God For The Scars." The authors are looking at the scars and challenges are what God often uses to teach His people. We actually learn more in the valleys than we do on the mountaintops. Here is a quote from this writing: "I believe it makes God happy, and pleases Him, when we pass the test of obedience in challenging times. Thank God for the scars, for His grace is enough for you. When you were weak, then His strength was made perfect."
If we can see the challenges in this light it will be like the beam of a lighthouse helping our boat to keep afloat when rocks of challenge are around us.

Today's Devotional
"Thank God For The Scars"
From now on, don’t let anyone make
trouble for me with these things. I don’t want anyone to bother me with these
disputes, or argue with me, making it necessary for me to justify and vindicate
my authority. I have far more important things to do – the serious living of
the faith.
I bear the scars from my service to
Jesus. I have the whip marks, the very brand-marks that show I belong to
Christ. On my own body are the wounds, disfigurements and other outward
evidence of persecutions that testify to His ownership.
Galatians 6.17
If you recognized the value of the
things that confront and challenge you, that add to your spiritual growth and
maturity, you would pray for one each day.
Trials, challenges, oppositions and
persecutions are God's designed instruments to remove the rough edges in our
lives so we can have greater effectiveness. Whenever a situation gets tough, God’s
Grace rises to the occasion and leaves its mark on our lives.
I believe it makes God happy, and
pleases Him, when we pass the test of obedience in challenging times. Thank God
for the scars, for His grace is enough for you. When you were weak, then His
strength was made perfect.
God bless you as you showcase His
