Good Morning
Today's writing is by Carol Steficek, and it is titled "ALL IN ALL." The theme of her writing is that we are considering things treasures that have no positive affect on where our hearts should be. Carol wrote, "When we die we will leave everything we own in this world behind us. Only what we have done for God's kingdom will follow us to heaven, and only our relationship with our Redeemer and Savior will matter."
Have a great weekend and remember that in this world we need to refocus our hearts on the righteousness that Jesus died for and accept and practice His teachings. Pray for yourselves and for the citizens of this world that you and they would begin to carefully choose what will be your treasures.
God bless,
Corinne & Carol

"ALL IN ALL"
"For where your
treasure is,
there your heart will be also."
Luke 12:34
Jesus has just finished talking to people about greed, being careful what we
treasure most. Society tends to measure success in terms of quantity --
the more the better. Even Christians think about heaven in terms of
possessing a "kingdom" -- whatever that will mean.
Jesus wants us to set our hearts upon Himself -- a relationship with Him, not
just what He can "give" us. There are many hymns which speak to
this theme: "Jesus, Priceless Treasure," "You Are My All In
All," and "What Is The World To Me" -- to name just a few.
When we die we will leave everything we own in this world behind us. Only
what we have done for God's kingdom will follow us to heaven, and only our
relationship with our Redeemer and Savior will matter.
Have you found treasure yet? If not, look to Jesus, our lasting treasure
for this world and the next. He is all there is.
