Good morning,
Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward co-authored today's writing which is titled, "God Is Always At Work." Their topic is that waiting for God as he works unseen is required. God is always at work behind the scenes in our behalf. This is a quote from this writing, "The enemy may fight, the road may be lonely and rough, the night may be dark but one thing is for certain. He will not rest until He brings to pass His purposes for your life."
Hope you are will have a good Thursday. The news is daunting and we need to pray for our country and our president.
God bless,
Corinne, Brother Thomas, & Jody
Today's Devotional
"God Is Always At Work"
For Zion’s sake, I cannot keep silent
until her righteousness shines like the sun.
Because I love her, and my heart yearns
for Jerusalem, I will not cease to pray for her until her vindication radiates
brightness.
I will not stop crying out to God on the
Holy City’s behalf and I cannot rest until her salvation burns like a blazing torch
in the night and her deliverance rises like the dawn. I will not be silent
until she is safe and secure.
Isaiah 62.1
Many times, in our journey of faith, we feel so
lonely. It feels as if God is not near us or around us. Sometimes, we get so discouraged
that some of the things we expected are not coming through. Other times, we get
frustrated that we took ten steps forward and then slid four steps back. Then,
while mourning for the four lost steps, we forget we are six steps ahead of
where we used to be.
The Lord is not afraid to let us go through hills
and valleys, for it is in those situations that He will make Himself known as
we experience His presence, power and love. The enemy may fight, the road may
be lonely and rough, the night may be dark but one thing is for certain. He
will not rest until He brings to pass His purposes for your life.
So why are afraid, worried, frustrated or
discouraged? There is no need for these things. Your God is working behind the
scene for you and He will bring it to pass soon.
