Today's writing is titled "Just Getting By...." and was written by Sandy Billingham. Her theme is that God wants us to have more than what leaves us in a situation of "just getting by." Sandy wrote, "We do not have to settle with 'just getting by', but we can call forth to our Daddy for our needs to be met by His great abundance! Because THAT IS WHO HE IS!!"

Wednesday Devotional
Yesterday I brought my father's small coin collection to a local coin shop to see what it was worth. The owner went through all the coins and gave me a good price on the coins in which I will split with my siblings. She wrote me a nice sized check for the coins and handed it to me. As she was giving me the check I felt impressed by the Holy Spirit to ask if she had a special thing she wanted prayer for. She gave it some thought and just then her husband came into the shop. She looked at him and mentioned to him that I was a "prayer warrior." He gave me the knuckle to my knuckle sign which meant that maybe they were believers. She then said, yes pray that financially we will "get by."
I let her know that God doesn't want us to just get by, but He wants to bless us with an abundant life!
His Word tells us in John 10:10
The Lord wants us to have an abundant life in every area of our life. He does not want us to live as paupers but as Princes and Princesses in our relationships, our jobs, our families, our health. Remember who our Daddy is..... King Jesus!!
So, Yes... you can know that I am praying for this couple for an abundant life at every level!! But more importantly that He draw them to Him and that they know Him more intimately!
