Good morning,
Sandy Billingham has given us the writing for today. The title is "The Word Refreshes," and the theme is that, when we are feeling a bit intellectually or emotionally under the weather, reading God's word will bring us refreshment that soothes our souls. Sandy wrote, "We can feel at our very worst physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally, but as we choose to feed on His Word and speak His Word over us. He touches our soul beautifully." This is a good habit to adopt and very beneficial when we are lacking and energy or in some sort of funk.
Hoping that your Wednesday is going well for you. I personally are still working to stow a whole houseful of Christmas. It always looks so barren when the house is back to normal after Christmas.
God bless

"The Word Refreshes"
Some days I feel depleted and just needing that extra pick-up!! I realize that the extra pick-up is to meditate on God's Word and let it wash over me time and time again. As I delve into to His Word and get it deep in my Spirit man I began to get strengthened.
His Word tells us in Psalm 19:7 a
"The law of the Lord is perfect; refreshing the soul..."
Not only is God's Word perfect, it refreshes our soul as well. His Word has many benefits for us. And one of those benefits is that He refreshes us by His perfect Word!
The world cannot refresh our soul nor regular exercising or even eating the best of foods. Only God's Word can strengthen and rejuvenate our soul.
We can feel at our very worst physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally, but as we choose to feed on His Word and speak His Word over us. He touches our soul beautifully. He begins to refresh our soul, and His life is poured into us.
You cannot go wrong on multiple doses of His Word throughout the day. You will experience an explosion of His refreshing power over your soul and walk your days out in great Victory!
In His Word
