Good Morning,
The Saturday devotional was written by Carol Steficek, and is titled, "APOSTASY." The meaning of the word, apostasy, is abandoning of a religious doctrine in favor of a more generally acceptable belief in the local society. Carol wrote, "The Holy Spirit is the one who creates faith in our hearts...there is a heaven (and not everyone is going there), and there is a hell."

"APOSTASY"
"Yet I hold this
against you:
You have forsaken your first love."
Revelation 2:4
The most telling sign that we in this world are living in the last days before
the return of Jesus Christ is the falling away of some of the Church.
Compromise is gradually creeping into many Christian denominations. False
teachings abound.
It does matter what a person believes. That is why we have 66 books in
the Bible to use as our resource for living and our guide for all our
behaviors. God's truth is absolute and His standards are clear. He
has not wavered according to the changing standards of society or what is
acceptable according to being "politically correct."
There is One Triune God. Jesus shed His blood on the cross for the salvation of
all mankind, and He is the only way to the Father, Jesus now lives and reigns
with the Father in heaven, He is coming back to the earth again. The Holy
Spirit is the one who creates faith in our hearts...there is a heaven (and not
everyone is going there), and there is a hell.
God's Word is crystal clear and is His eternal revelation to those who will see
and hear. He will hold it against all who have forsaken Him as their first love
to follow the doctrines of demons.
