Good morning,
The writing for today is named, "Just Believe," and it was written by Kelly Dobyns. She has a theme that she wants to share. It is that if one remembers that Jesus is the Son of God and will always be near. There is no need to become spazzed out, when He is near. Remember that and calm down. Tasks get finished. Kelly wrote, "Never fear the Lord is always, always near. He never moves away from me, I am the one that moves away from Him. My goal today is to not allow the troubles of the world to get to me so that I begin to walk away from Him."
You have almost made it to the end of the week...have a fantastic Friday and a restful weekend. Pick three things that matter and to you and pray for these things. Prayer changes things.
God bless,
Corinne & Kelly

Today's Devotional
"Just Believe"
Who is it that overcomes the world?
Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:5
(NIV)
I need to keep this reminder to myself lately. Even though life is really very good at this point; I have changed from a job in which I was very unhappy, part of that reason being that I was treated very poorly by one particular person, and, with my sensitivity level, that was very hard to live with, I have moved to now working at a job I love with an absolutely wonderful boss that treats me with such respect and care. I love it so much!!
My problem is that I give so much and then I forget to take care of myself. We are so busy at work, which is awesome, however, I wear myself out and get so overwhelmed. Therefore, I must remind myself that God is in charge. That He is going to make sure that all is done timely. There is no reason for me to be so stressed over my work load, or let the constant interruptions bother me so much. When I slow myself down I remember that and I smile. There is so much comfort in knowing and believing that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He will keep me in His arms, never leaving or forsaking me.
It is the Lord who goes before you.
He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you.
Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 (ESV)
Wow!! What a comfort and love to have in my heart. For me to be able to share that with the world is incredible. All we have to do is believe, believe, and believe some more.
Be strong and courageous.
Do not fear or be in dread of them
for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.
He will not leave you or forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6
(ESV)
When I continue to believe with the strength and courage He gives me…..my days are calm, my pains go away, there is a smile on my face because I am able to see the beauty on this earth that He has provided for us to see. At that same time I am take in those work interruptions and love on that people that create them, and in return I am blessed by them as well!!
Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Behold, all who are incensed against you
shall be put to shame and confounded;
those who strive against you
shall be as nothing and shall perish.
You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.
shall be put to shame and confounded;
those who strive against you
shall be as nothing and shall perish.
You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.
For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”
