Good Morning,
Today's writing is authored by Sandy Billingham, and it is titled, ""Our Ultimate Worry Lifter." The theme of this writing is that all our worries can be turned over to God who loves us and watches over us just as He watches over the sparrows and everything He has created. Sandy wrote, "He is just waiting for us to release those cares and worries to Him. When we do that, the good news is, that He grants us His peace. They are no longer a burden for we have exchanged all that for His wonderful peace. Now that sounds like a pretty incredible deal to me! One that I can't afford to pass up!"

Wednesday Devotional

"Our Ultimate Worry Lifter"
None of us can escape from the fact that there are tumultuous times that come into our life that can throw us into a major tizzy! Those times will happen, but it is what we do with those times that determine the outcome. We can choose to worry, stew and fret or we can maintain our sanity and choose to trust in the Lord.
I have found when I try to wing it and work it out on my own, it sometimes gets even worse! On the other hand when I lay those worries at the feet of Jesus, everything begins to change and hope starts to rise in my heart.
The Lord tells us in His Word...
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
Matthew 6:25
Our God sees that even the birds of the air have plenty of food to eat. To me that is astounding! How much more will He see that we are taken care of. We are highly treasured and valued in His sight!
He is just waiting for us to release those cares and worries to Him. When we do that, the good news is, that He grants us His peace. They are no longer a burden for we have exchanged all that for His wonderful peace.
Now that sounds like a pretty incredible deal to me! One that I can't afford to pass up!
I will ever be mindful that when those fierce storms come,(and they will come), I will be sure to quickly lay them at my Savior's feet. He is ready and completely more than willing to take care of me and not only that but take care of my situation.
I am so very thankful that the Lord Almighty
is our "Ultimate Worry Lifter" every day of our life.
