Saturday Writing by Carol Steficek....

Good Morning,

Today Writing is by Carol Steficek and it titled, "ALL YOUR TIME."  The theme of her writing is that it is possible to devote all your time to God as you do the regular things that are normal ways of how you spend your life. Carol wrote, "What we must become more aware of is paying attention to God during all the activities of the day.  We need to recognize He is with us during every moment of every day and wants to share our lives with us."   

One more day  until 2017! What plans do you have to move up your relationship with the One that it is all about? Think about it, if you will!  Please continue to pray for and it's future.

 "ALL YOUR TIME"

"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,

for I have put my trust in you.  Show me the way I should go, 

for to you I lift up my soul." 

Psalm 143:8

    

God doesn't just want us to pay attention to Him for an hour or two in church and Bible class on Sunday, or for the time you manage to spend with Him during your daily devotions.  He want more than this daily quiet time with Him.

     

     

    

 God wants ALL of your time!  What, you must be saying.  I have lots to do during the day -- I don't have time for God.  

    

    

      Ah, but you do.  You have time to stop for a few minutes during your busy schedule to admire the beautiful world you live in -- time for God.  You have time to say a brief prayer for a friend who called who needs healing -- time for God.  You have time at the railroad crossing as you sit in your car to talk with God about your day -- time for God.  As you work out on the treadmill for a half hour you can share your activities with God -- time for God.  When you don't know what decision to make about something and you need God's guidance in prayer  -- time for god.

     

     What we must become more aware of is paying attention to God during all the activities of the day.  We need to recognize He is with us during every moment of every day and wants to share our lives with us.  He's there.  He wants our time.  do we recognize His presence?
