Good Morning.
Sandy Billingham named her writing, "Gaze Straight Ahead." She speaks about fixing her eyes on the Lord, asking Him to help her to stay in the state of prayer and to help her focus on what she needs to focus on. Sandy wrote, "Let the Father God gently take you through the day knowing He will order your steps. You can be fully secure in Him for His ways are perfect!"
Have a wonderful Wednesday following God. Please remember to pray for our country.
God bless

Wednesday Devotional
"Gaze Straight Ahead"
In this life that we live on earth there are multi distractions continuously. That is why it helps me to stay in a state of prayer with my eyes fixed on the Lord and asking Him to keep me focused on what is at hand. If I did not do that I am sure I would be a blubbering mess!
His Word says in Proverbs 4:25-27...
"Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you,
Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established.
Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil."
We are specifically told to not enter the path of the wicked, or to walk in the way of evil. We must avoid it at all costs! We must give attention to God's Word day and night and incline our ears to His sayings. We are asked to keep our eyes on Him and His Word, for that is what is life to each of us. As we walk that out, that is what will keep our feet from slipping down a crooked path.
I was reminded of the race horses that have special equipment over their heads. On each side of their eyes is a shield that keeps them from looking to the left or the right. When they are racing they are able to stay focused and are not easily distracted.
We need invisible shields on each side of our eyes. We can more easily keep our eyes on Jesus and not on the things of this world. God wants to establish our ways and to keep our feet on a path of righteousness and holiness.
Each day, as you get out of bed, consider God's ways and gaze straight ahead into His eyes. Let the Father God gently take you through the day knowing He will order your steps. You can be fully secure in Him for His ways are perfect!
Gazing In the Father's Eyes,
