Good Morning,
The devotional today was co-written by Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The title is
"CHOSEN VESSEL, PART 1." The theme of their writing starts with the fact that God knew all about those were formed before their birth, and when He set their life purpose they became his chosen instrument.
Jeremiah wrote, "I also give you authority to build up and to plant, to nurture and make them strong and great."
Jody wrote, "There are many people talking and making noise, but God is looking for a voice, to be His voice, to the world. Ask yourself, am I the voice He is looking for?
Have a nice Thursday, and please pray for our country!
God bless,
God bless,

Thursday Writing
CHOSEN VESSEL
Part 1:
Then the word of God
came to me.
This is what the Lord said to me,
the message He gave me.
This is what the Lord said to me,
the message He gave me.
“Before I made you
inside your mother’s belly, I chose you. You see, I knew all about you, even
before you were formed in your mother’s womb and I approved of you as My chosen
instrument, My spokesman to the world.
Before you were born, I
set you apart and I consecrated you to Myself, as My own. Before I gave you
life, I selected you for a special work. Before you even saw the light of day
for the first time, I had holy plans for you. I dedicated you as a prophet to
the nations.
See, today, your work
begins. Today you will stand up and warn the nations and kingdoms of the world.
I appoint you over countries and empires and I put you in charge, in accord
with My words spoken through your mouth, to tear up and break down, destroy,
overthrow and demolish. I also give you authority to build up and to plant, to
nurture and make them strong and great.
Jeremiah 1.4-5, 10
We are in the last days
where God is looking for vessels He can use to convey the message of sin and
conviction to people, and then bring the message of redemption and
reconciliation to the lost and broken.
There are many people
talking and making noise, but God is looking for a voice, to be His voice,
to the world. Ask yourself, am I the voice He is looking for?
We are given the honor,
and the duty, of carrying Jesus to a lost world. We must separate ourselves
from the evil of the world if we are to be effective, productive and useful for
God’s purposes.
Today, pray the Lord
will find
a willing vessel in us and that
the world will hear His voice
clearly
through us.
